Florian Holzer, born in 1966 in Mistelbach/Zaya (Lower Austria), works as a freelance writer and columnist for Austrian and international publishers, and lives in Vienna.

Numerous publications on culinary themes in Austrian and international newspapers and magazines, including NZZ am Sonntag, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Berliner Zeitung, since 2005 he has been editor-in-chief of A la Carte delicatessen guide, and co-author of a book entitled “the 50 greatest wine lies” in 2005, Krenn Publishers.
Florian Holzer has so far written critiques of some 1,500 restaurants - and is still enjoying it.
